TONS to talk about today – this 4-day break for the holiday was the longest of the year!
One thing I was thankful about over the weekend –> my first time on a golf course in 3 1/2 years (due to a shoulder injury)
Here’s today’s entire show: Listen to “#HausRules – 11.28.16” on Spreaker.
HausGuest – David Harsanyi
David is one of my favorite writers (bookmark his author page at The Federalist) and it was GREAT to have him back on the show.
Here’s his bio:
David Harsanyi is a senior editor at The Federalist. Harsanyi is a nationally syndicated columnist and author of three books. His work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Weekly Standard, National Review, Reason, New York Post, and numerous other publications. David has appeared on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, ABC World News Tonight, NBC Nightly News and dozens of radio talk shows across the country.
Most of our segment was a discussion of Fidel Castro’s LONG overdue and awaited assumption of room temperature. And some of the dipshittery from leftists in response. Particularly poignant was David’s telling us about how his parents fled the tyranny of Hungary’s regime just before his birth.
The worst was Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s statement:
In response, Twitter exploded with #TrudeauEulogies and they were FANTASTIC:
Trump’s comment was FAR better:?
On the other hand, not surprisingly, his comment on the election was total nonsense:?
As he’s been every time, David was the PERFECT HausGuest.
- Michigan lost:?
- Chargers won:
- I watched FOUR movies this weekend: Glory Road (GREAT), About a Boy (Really good), The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain (REALLY good), Miss You Already (OK)
- Sam Whitfield’s Facebook post about the passing of his service dog was SO GOOD AND MOVING that I had to write about it:
Thank you for reading and listening!
